Competition for Retrofitting a Tower at Avenida Paulista

This existing office building at Avenida Paulista needs to go through a retrofit process to reinsert it in the market, with changes in the installations, core and layout.

The pedestrian access through Avenida Paulista will be emphasized with the creation of an esplanade, with water feature and an access ramp to the ground level of the tower.

The facades will be redone in granite in the base to enrich the building. The existing windows will be updated and receive semi-reflective glass, to gain thermal and acoustic efficiency.

The existing antenna will be removed and a new element will be inserted to crown the building, creating a more interesting shape.

The tower has 19 typical floors and approximately 9,000sf per slab with a total building area of 290,000sf.
